WA:Residents learn if they've lost homes
Evacuated residents in the Perth Hills have learned who are the fortunate ones and
who'll return to smouldering ruins .. with a fierce bushfire still burning through their
suburbs.
Around 200 firefighters and aerial water bombers are continuing to battle the blaze
.. which has destroyed at least 42 homes and damaged more in parts of Roleystone and Kelmscott.
There've been no deaths .. but a firefighter is in a stable condition in hospital after
being hit by a vehicle .. and several people have been treated for smoke inhalation.
