Andrews, Monroe pace Bloom

Evanston's William Artope was discussing his win in the 1,600meters at Saturday's Glenbard West boys track invitational when helooked at the 200-meter race and groaned.

"Oh man, not this guy again," he said.

"This guy," was Tyreese Andrews of Bloom, who was in the processof just getting edged out by teammate Kellen Monroe. Monroe won the200 in 22.1 seconds; Andrews was second in 22.3.

Andrews won the 400, and Monroe finished second in the 100 metersand anchored the Blazing Trojans' winning 400 relay, to help leadBloom to the team title with 97 points. St. Charles finished secondwith 91.

Bloom's win would have been bigger had its 800 relay, alsoanchored …
