Tas: Motorist hurt in fiery collision in state's north
A woman has been seriously injured in a fiery collision between a car and a van on
the Bass Highway on Tasmania's north coast.
Police say the woman's car burst into flames on impact .. at Doctors Rocks .. northwest
of Devonport this morning.
She suffered neck and spinal injuries.
The male van driver had to be freed from his vehicle .. but wasn't badly hurt.
They're both expected to be taken to North West Regional Hospital at Burnie.
